I'm Mary Sullivan and I teach at Massasoit Community College in the Mathematics Department. My interests include technology in the mathematics classroom, distance education, and statistics.
]]>Massasoit's Science Division will be holding a series of events for students planning to transfer to a four-year school and major in science. The next event will be on Wednesday, March 24. Kym Welty (UMass Dartmouth) will discuss the Robert Noyce Teaching Scholarship Program funded by NSF that seeks to recruit math and science undergraduates to become middle and high-school math and science teachers in local, high-need school districts.

Massasoit’s Math Team is once again competing in the national AMATYC Student Math League competition. This past fall, after the first round of competition, Massasoit’s students ranked 1st in the state of Massachusetts, 2nd in New England, and are tied for 6th place in the Northeast region.
The Math Team is recruiting more students. Students are NOT required to be currently enrolled in a math course to be eligible to participate. For more information, click here.
