<p>Massasoit's Science Division will be&nbsp;holding a series of events for students planning to transfer to a four-year school and major in science.&nbsp; The next event will be on Wednesday, March 24.&nbsp;&nbsp; Kym Welty&nbsp; (UMass Dartmouth) will discuss the Robert Noyce Teaching Scholarship Program funded by NSF that seeks to recruit math and science undergraduates to become middle and high-school math and science teachers in local, high-need school districts.</p>

<h3>Math Team</h3>
<p class="Default">Massasoit&rsquo;s Math Team is once again competing in the national AMATYC Student Math League competition.&nbsp; This past fall, after the first round of competition, Massasoit&rsquo;s students <span style="color: windowtext;">ranked 1st in the state of Massachusetts, 2<sup>nd</sup> &nbsp;in New England, and are tied for 6<sup>th</sup> place in the Northeast region.&nbsp; </span></p>
